‘A clay in the distance’ (audio poetry installation)
Anxiety and depression create a strange state of mind. In this sound installation, this state of mind is spatially visualized and the audience can experience it with the sound of the artist’s poetry reading.
The materials absorb the sound and it will create an experience of the state of mind with anxiety and depression. This work was inspired by the artist's own experience of conversation-based counselling sessions, which helped her to look at her personal and subjective experiences more objectively to analyze it. The poem was also written based on her psychological experience in the sessions.
